WHO IS CJ?
CJ is an accomplished Entertainer.
CJ debuted his music at World Pride 2019 opening for Kristine W, Deborah Cox, NYC's 2019 NYFW and was the Guest Artist for the 2019 Youth Activist Hidden Hero Awards, presented by The Andrew Goodman Foundation.
CJ's musical style seamlessly blends cinematic grandeur with infectious rhythms inspired by his cultures, career and the NYC UnderGround Dance Club Scene, entrancing amalgamation of storytelling and vibrant new energy.
CJ Tyson's songwriting style, influenced by the likes of Roisin Murphy, Depeche Mode and American Pop Music, weaves together avant-garde lyricism and irresistible hooks, fusing experimental creativity and mainstream appeal.
CJ Tyson began his entertainment career at 17 years old with Sesame Street Live and, soon after, performing on Broadway at 21 in Wicked and the Revival of West Side Story. CJ’s entertainment intuition and artistic discipline opened the doors to work alongside Madonna, Beyonce, Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, Ledisi and cast as understudy for Nigel and an original cast member in “The Devil Wears Prada” Broadway Musical.
CJ’s entertainment career expanded beyond Broadway and dancing divas and into television as a Choreographer for Fox Entertainment’s “I Can See Your Voice,” a resident dancer for NBC’s SNL, dance rolls in the films “PopStar: Never Stop Never Stopping” and “Ted2”, and all five seasons of the hit pop-culture phenomenon “Lip Sync Battle”, just to name a few highlights from his career. Most recently, CJ was featured in Amy Schumer's newest Netflix project, "Kinda Pregnant."

-Signed agreement prior to performance
-Full payment before completion of performance or 30 days after invoice sent date
